The competitions are divided into two divisions, Division B (grades 6-9) and Division C (grades 9-12). Each school is eligible to have unlimited teams. A team consists of up to 15 team members. No alternates are permitted.

For Division B, a maximum of five ninth graders and for Division C, a maximum of seven twelfth graders on a team is permitted. Middle schools may invite five of their last year's eighth grade students to be part of the team. Teams may participate in all events offered at the Blinn College Science Olympiad. Each team may only enter an event once.

We continue to host up to 12 teams in each division.
